Another show in the Oulu region, this time at a festival! 80 people attended and they seemed to enjoy the show and music, which is always nice. The setlist was quite balanced between the 3 latest albums and worked well. Many also talked about the band before the show and seemed to be quite enthusiastic, so it's a good sign of the music slowly but steadily spreading around the world :)
The live rig was pretty much the same as before at Lupi, Oulu, but this time the carriage was a bit lighter since we could use the cabinets from the venue. That means, I had a laptop running Reaper 64-bit, with 4 tracks of drums, 1 track of electronics and synths, 1 rhythm guitar track reamped, and 1 bass track reamped, making for a lot of ruckus from just two guys on stage, heh. This setup is getting more and more to my liking, since it works so well and is quite straightforward. From the amp-side, I used my Engl Powerball + Digitech DigiDelay with Schecter 007 Blackjack for my parts, and Marshall JCM900 SL-X boosted with a Behringer EQ700 (heh) for the reamped track. Unfortunately the Digitech Bad Monkey overdrive seems to have given up the ghost, but luckily the EQ pedal worked just as well as a boost for the Marshall. The bass amp was borrowed from Northern Discomfort (thanks guys!).
Overall a very nice show, and the venue was excellent too, especially the backstage that finally had a whole lot of room to roam around! The stage sound was very good too, and of course it's easier to play when you can actually hear what is going on ;)

Maybe some nice souls could send them to us? Matti's friend also seemed to take some, maybe we'll get them later.
